Simplifying the complexities of business one color-coded spreadsheet at a time

Long before I had dreams of starting my own business, I was working in higher ed with a recently-completed MBA. But after only a month of dating, my future-husband looked at me and said, “You won’t be working for someone else forever. You need to do your own thing.”

Once we had kids and I was prepping for our first (of many) military moves, I thought back to that prediction. I was tired of selling my soul to pave the way for someone else’s dreams. I wanted autonomy, control, and freedom. 

So I started my own photography business.

It was everything I had dreamed of…until it wasn’t. 

The complete lack of support, accountability, and collaboration left me feeling utterly alone and overwhelmed. 

Turns out you can be fully capable and still need help.

You can have a bold vision and still crave direction.

You can be wildly independent and still need accountability.
